Fashion giant H&M to open at Brickell City Centre in Miami

Global fashion giant H&M is set to open at Miami’s renowned retail and lifestyle destination, The Shops at Brickell City Centre (BCC), joining top performers like Zara, Levi’s, and Chanel Fragrance and Beauty Boutique.

H&M will occupy a two-level space spanning over 25,000 square feet and will house fashion collections for women, men, and kids. 

Characterizing the space is upgraded finishes and amenities, including tile flooring, special tile detailing, open-air ceilings, a grand staircase, guest lounge areas, and a large-scale screen to showcase H&M’s latest campaigns. 

“Among the world’s leading retailers, H&M is an ideal and exciting addition to the dynamic Brickell City Centre shopping experience,” said David Martin, senior vice president at Swire Properties, the developed behind BCC. 

“We are pleased to be the first to welcome H&M to Brickell and offer our loyal visitors in greater Downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods yet another national shopping brand to complement BCC’s tenants that cater to the area’s younger consumer base and tastes. H&M complements our refreshed retail mix and further positions BCC as the foremost retail destination for residents and visitors of Brickell and beyond.”

BCC has become a central gathering place for locals, catering to the evolving demographics of Miami, particularly with the influx of new residents since 2020. With the arrival of H&M and a series of new leases slated for 2024, BCC will achieve full occupancy for the first time since its inauguration in 2016.

The centre has introduced 24 new brands over the past four years. The shopping center witnessed a 21.4% surge in foot traffic and a 13% year-over-year increase in retail sales throughout 2023. Moreover, the shopping centre achieved record visitors during 2023’s holiday season.
