Artists Sioux Tempestt and Seantelle Walsh have helped Dorrien Gardens, the West Perth home of Perth Soccer Club, get ready to welcome international teams to the training venue during the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.
The recently completed 80m long mural at its entrance — based on FWWC2023’s official theme Beyond Greatness — combines Tempestt’s abstract style with Walsh’s Aboriginal symbols and iconography, celebrating women in sport, multiculturalism, diversity and inclusion.
