Fashion brand Guess, in collaboration with eyewear partner Marcolin, has ventured into the heart of South Africa to launch an exclusive safari experience at the Botlierskop Private Game Reserve Lodge.

Located in the south-westernmost tip of Africa, the Botlierskop Private Game Reserve offers a blend of African wilderness and luxury accommodations. Guests can immerse themselves in guided game drives, horseback safaris, bush walks, and spa treatments.

As part of the reserve takeover, Guess has infused its signature style into the tented lodge area of Botlierskop, adorning the space with products from the Guess Home collection, including candles, throws, pillows, towels, and other lifestyle pieces. Additionally, bespoke branded elements extend to various areas of the lodge, including the wellness center, yoga room, and a branded canopied swing in the garden. 

“This is the first time that Guess has ever worked on a project of this kind in South Africa, so this is a pivotal moment for the Guess brand. It was so inspiring working on the décor for the lodges and villas at the Botlierskop and we are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with them this year,” said Guess co-founder and chief creative officer Paul Marciano. 

“With its unique and exclusive atmosphere, wildlife and experiences, this world-famous reserve is the perfect playground to showcase the glamor and sophisticated details and colorways of the Guess Home décor collection which was specifically styled to enhance the special ambience and mood of this luxurious location.”

To celebrate the launch, Guess hosted an exclusive four-day stay for a select group of top influencers from around the world. The move follows the success of Guess’s luxury beach club and ski resort takeovers in Europe.

To further amplify the event’s reach, Guess stores in the Cape Town V&A Waterfront and Johannesburg Sandton City will feature dedicated Botlierskop-inspired window displays, showcasing select items from the Guess Home décor collection.
