Taylor Swift was seen hugging late NBA star Kobe Bryant’s daughter in a heartwarming moment on stage in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
Fans watched along as the popstar hugged Bianka Bryant during a performance on her Eras tour, with footage showing Swift saying “I love you” to her before she got back up to continue performing.
Vanessa Bryant, the widow of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, shared a sweet photo of the hug on Instagram, captioning the post: “So special.”
The 41-year-old visited the show along with her two daughters Natalia and Bianka.
She shared a second image of a picture of her late husband alongside Swift from 2015, when Bryant gave the singer a banner for setting a new record for the most sold-out shows at the then Staples Center.
Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna tragically died in a helicopter crash in 2020.
He was travelling in his private helicopter when it crashed in the Los Angeles County suburb of Calabasas.
Seven other people were killed, with no survivors.
The helicopter was reportedly en route to Gigi’s basketball game in Thousand Oaks.
The 41-year-old was regarded as one of the greatest ever players, guiding the Lakers to five NBA championships in his 20-year career.
