JEE Main Result 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to declare the JEE Main Session 1 Result 2024 today, February 12. After the announcement of the January session results, candidates have several choices to consider.
The NTA conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2024 Session 1 starting from January 24, 2024, for Paper 2A (B.Arch.) and Paper 2B (B.Planning), and from January 27 to February 1, 2024, for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.).This exam took place at 544 centers spread across 291 cities nationwide, including 21 cities outside India.
For Students Aiming for IITs
Candidates with an impressive score in the JEE Mains are eligible for JEE Advanced 2024. Such students should start preparing immediately for the Advanced exam, which will take place in May. Typically, candidates need to be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (regardless of category) in the B.E./B.Tech. paper to qualify for the JEE Advanced 2024.
Students with slightly lower score in the Mains 2024 Session 1 can opt to sit in the JEE Main Session 2 exam to improve their chances of getting selected for JEE Advanced 2024. Meanwhile, you can prepare for JEE Advanced while aiming for a better score in Session 2.
If you’re not qualified for the JEE Advanced, there’s no need for you to take the exam. Depending on your JEE Main score, you can join the JoSAA counseling process to apply for admission to different NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and other engineering colleges.
