The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has revised the annual regular examination timetable for 2024. Changes have been made for Class 11 in soft zone areas and for Class 10, 11, and 12 in hard zone areas. The board exam dates have been revised to prevent any overlap with the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
As per the updated schedule, the JKBOSE Class 10 exams in hard zone regions will run from April 4 to May 9, with Class 11 exams in soft zone areas set for April 2 to May 1.
The electoral officer in charge of Jammu and Kashmir asked the JKBOSE to make sure that exam dates don’t clash with election dates in the region. Also, the National Testing Agency is holding the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024, Session 2 from April 04 to 15, 2024. The board has received requests from students to change the dates of their exams because of this.

“All the concerned are hereby informed that the upcoming examination of class 11h Annual Regular 2024 (Soft Zone) and Annual Regular 2024 examinations of classes 10th, 11th and 12th (Hard Zone Area) have been rescheduled and that said examination shall be now held on rescheduled dates in two Sessions (Morning and Evening Shift),” reads the official notice.
