Jurassic Kingdom to tear up Burswood’s Kagoshima Park with epic dino-mite attractions

Dinosaurs may have become extinct some 66 million years ago, but the earth-shattering giants are set to tear up Burswood in an epic four-week long carnival.

Hosted by Carnival Events, Jurassic Kingdom is making a comeback to Burswood’s Kagoshima Park with a plethora of dino-mite attractions including a dinosaur creation lab, Scitech interactive zone, paddock performance and, of course, roaming dinosaurs.

Budding dino-fans will also be able to enjoy new attractions once the sun goes down, with a range of new after-dark activities including a raptor den, Skeletunnel, dinosaur egg garden and fire and light installations.

“We also have a 3D dino escape so it will look like the dinosaur is trying to escape its cage … because it has a 3D effect, you will get a bit of a jump scare if you’re standing too close because you might think it is actually coming to get you,” Carnival Amusement’s events director Sash Abreu laughed.

Jurassic Kingdom will also have showbags, carnival rides, sideshow games and food trucks.

“It is quite comprehensive, the activities we have at the actual event and the park itself,” Ms Abreu said.

“I feel like families can come there, have a really good day out, tire out their children and go home knowing that their kids are happy and they can put their feet up and hopefully relax in front of the TV for a few hours.”

Jurassic Kingdom will run from 9am to 4pm from March 29 to April 28.
