Kim Kardashian was thunderously booed on stage at The Roast of Tom Brady on Sunday night.
Taking the mic, the fashion and reality TV star had diminutive host Kevin Hart in her sights as she attempted to fire off a shot at the comic to begin her fiery roast.
However, the Skims founder — dressed in a strapless black dress, silver cross necklace and long blonde hair — could barely spit out Hart’s name without the crowd interrupting.
“I know a lot of people make fun of your height,” she said, as the chorus of boos overwhelmed her.
Despite the glamorous nature of the live Los Angeles event — billed as The Greatest Roast of All-Time: Tom Brady by Netflix — fans weren’t afraid to voice their displeasure at the sight of the famous Kardashian.
After almost 20 seconds, Hart came to the rescue of the startled star to end the awkward moment.
“Woah, woah, woah,” he was heard remarking off camera.
Kim then pleaded, “Alright, alright, alright”.
The boos were slowly drowned out by cheers as the 43-year-old said her piece.
“Alright, Kevin,” she continued. “I know a lot of people make fun of you…”
Attempting to keep her cool, the seven-time Super Bowl champion watched on as the star recovered.
Kim provided a cheeky comment on claims she once dated the 46-year-old former footballer.
“I know there were some rumours that we were, and I’d never say if we did or not,” she teased. “I’d just release a tape.”
“But I do know it would never work out.”
“You remind me too much of my stepdad now,” she said, referring to Caitlyn Jenner.
“Oh, part of me thinks you would want to (date) me just to try on my clothes. I know the transition from the NFL must have been really hard.
“But I think my stepdad is a great example for you. She’s one of the best athletes in the world who proved you can do anything in this next chapter of your life. You can become a commentator or a far-right-wing Republican or even a strong confident woman.”
Brady took jabs from comedians and former teammates all night, yet it was the beauty icon who may have felt a little worse for wear by the end of it.
