Kuwait Volleyball Federation strategizes preparation for junior team tournaments

KUWAIT CITY, April 30: The Training and National Teams Committee of the Volleyball Federation convened at the federation’s headquarters in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex to discuss the preparation plan for the Kuwait junior team. The meeting was attended by the technical staff of the national team, led by Khaled Al-Mutairi and his assistant Mishal Al-Sabti, along with the players.

Kuwait junior volleyball team is gearing up for the upcoming Arab Championship for players born in 2008-2009, set to take place in Jordan from July 7th to July 20th. Additionally, they are preparing for the Asian Under-18 Championship scheduled in Bahrain from July 28th to August 4th.

Chairman of the Training and National Teams Committee, Nayef Al-Failakawi, affirmed that the meeting would cover the training plan, which will be executed in two phases. The first phase will span three days to finalize the initial player list before a hiatus for academic tests. Following this, the team will resume training as part of the second phase of the preparation plan.

The initial roster for the junior volleyball team comprises 40 players from various clubs, including Burgan, Al-Jahra, Al-Shabab, Al-Arabi, Al-Qadisiya, Kazima, Kuwait Club, and Yarmouk. These players will undergo rigorous training to represent Kuwait with excellence in the upcoming championships.
