Mango has once again appointed Antoine Griezmann as the face of its men’s line for the Spring/Summer 2024 season. Following their inaugural partnership in 2022 and a successful encore in 2023, Mango Man has presented a campaign captured by photographer Scott Trindle, drawing inspiration from the illustrious journey of the acclaimed athlete.

“From his formative years in Macôn to the present day, through his youthful years in Donosti, Griezmann’s story is an inspirational tale of innate talent, perseverance, and sacrifice. Mango Man, in collaboration with the footballer, presents a narrative that transcends the boundaries of mere fashion, delving deep into the moments that have shaped this iconic athlete,” stated the Barcelona-based fashion brand in a press release.

Once again, the campaign bears the slogan ‘Move Forward’, offering an immersive visual journey through the footballer’s achievements and personal trajectory, conveyed through photographs and a video. With this narrative, the images showcase Mango Man’s collection for the Spring/Summer season, featuring a palette dominated by neutral tones, grays, and browns, along with materials such as linen and knitwear, and versatile designs inspired by relaxed tailoring and breezy summer shirts.

Prior to enlisting Antoine Griezmann as its ambassador, Mango has collaborated with other notable figures such as Andrés Velencoso, Gerard Piqué, Zinedine Zidane, and Adrien Brody.

The brand’s menswear division is currently available in over 550 retail outlets across more than 90 countries and is distributed online in 75 markets.

“Innovation in men’s fashion has been a constant for Mango Man since 2014 [when the company rebranded this line], moving away from classic stereotypes and rigidities. Fashion thus becomes an expression of resilience and determination, reflecting both the essence of the brand and the inspiring story of Antoine Griezmann,” concluded the Barcelona-based brand.

Celebrating its four decades of existence in 2024, Mango recently unveiled its results for the 2023 fiscal year, boasting record-breaking sales with revenue exceeding 3.1 billion euros and a net income of 172 million euros.

The company also unveiled its new strategic plan for 2026, underpinned by four key pillars (Elevate, Expand, Earn, and Empower). Mango is aiming to achieve a turnover of 4 billion euros and open 500 stores throughout that period, augmenting its existing portfolio of 2,700 boutiques spanning across 115 markets.
