Mansory Tuned The First-Ever Electric Rolls-Royce Giving The Spectre A Carbon Fiber Bodykit And Orange Interior

  • The exterior is full of carbon fiber add-ons, including a new hood and a double rear spoiler.
  • The modified Rolls-Royce Spectre rides on a new set of 24-inch forged and polished wheels.
  • The interior combines black and orange leather upholstery with more star-like LEDs and carbon fiber inlays.

The wait is over, as Mansory has unveiled its tuning package for Rolls-Royce’s first-ever production EV – the Spectre. The subtle design of the ultra-luxurious coupe is gone, with numerous carbon fiber add-ons taking over the exterior and a striking orange leather upholstery inside the cabin.

The Rolls-Royce Spectre debuted in October 2022, but tuners have been reluctant in modifying it since. Mansory, which is no stranger to Rolls-Royce builds, proceeded in a complete vehicle conversion, showing what can be done if a Spectre owner gives them the green light.

Review: The Rolls-Royce Spectre Is The Ultimate EV Right Now

A large portion of the exterior is covered in Mansory’s signature carbon weave, including the entire hood which is described as “ultra-light”. The front bumper has a sharper splitter and matching garnish around the intakes which house an extra set of slim LED DRLs. The grille has been blackened but retains the illumination effect which can be specified to any desired color.

The profile of the standard Spectre largely comes without any decorative features, but Mansory added massive side gills with fake intakes and sportier side skirts with integrated fins. Similarly, the thick bezels surrounding the greenhouse got a carbon fiber extension, as with the taillight garnish.

The modifications to the rear end are even more striking, with a large diffuser covering the bespoke carbon fiber bumper and being optionally available with an F1-style third brake light. Finally, the swooping roofline of the EV is interrupted by a discreet roof spoiler and a more pronounced lip spoiler on the edge of the tailgate. Mansory claims that these were added to “maximize the downforce on the rear axle”, although we doubt that the Spectre needed the extra drag.

As for the wheels, Mansory had already announced the FD.15 rims with a diameter of 23 inches, but they have now added the option of an even larger 24-inch version shod in 295/30 R24 tires. On the pictured example, the forged and polished wheels are painted black, matching the dark-themed exterior.

Moving inside, the tuner opted for a high-contrast combination with orange and black shades for the fine leather upholstery. There is a heavy dose of carbon fiber inserts, along high-pile floor mats and star-lit door cards matching the roofliner.

As is the case with most modified EVs, the electric powertrain remains intact. The Rolls-Royce Spectre makes 577 hp (430 kW / 584 PS) and 660 lb-ft (895 Nm) of torque, enough to propel the heavyweight luxury sedan from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.4 seconds. On the other hand, the 120 kWh battery pack offers a 266-mile (428 km) range, which shouldn’t be an issue as not many owners use their Rolls-Royces for hypermiling.

Mansory didn’t reveal the cost of the Spectre conversion but they will happily make another one for interested parties.
