Kuwait City, Mar 28: Kuwait Automotive Imports Co. (Alshaya & Alsagar) the authorized distributor of Mazda Vehicles, proudly announces Mazda’s outstanding achievement in winning the prestigious 2024 TOP SAFETY PICK+ AWARDS OF ANY SINGLE BRAND from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
Mazda has secured 5 TOP SAFETY PICK+ and one TOP SAFETY PICK award for its vehicles. The 2024 model year Mazda3, Mazda3 Sport, and CX-30, when equipped with optional front crash prevention technology, have been honored with the 2024 TOP SAFETY PICK+ award.
Additionally, the CX-50 (built after August 2023) and CX-90 MHEV have also earned the TSP+ award with standard equipment. Meanwhile, the CX-90 PHEV has earned the next-highest, TOP SAFETY PICK award.
IIHS’s stringent criteria for the awards have set new benchmarks, emphasizing enhanced front and side impact protection, as well as advancements in crash prevention, particularly addressing daytime and nighttime pedestrian scenarios. IIHS President David Harkey emphasizes, “This year’s winners are true standouts, offering the highest level of protection for both vehicle occupants and other vulnerable road users.”
In its dedication to safety, Mazda’s commitment to safety goes beyond just protecting passengers; it extends to safeguarding pedestrians as well.
