The defence in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial will continue to cross-examine investigating officer Sergeant Batho Mogola at the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Wednesday, 24 April.

SENZO MEYIWA MURDER TRIAL CONTINUES

Mogola is part of the SAPS members who investigated Meyiwa’s death lead by Brigadier Bongani Gininda.

Defence lawyer for accused 5 advocate Zandile Mshololo asked Mogola about the draft warrant application for the arrest of singer Kelly Khumalo.

Khumalo was Meyiwa’s girlfriend at the time of his death and they share a child together. Furthermore, Khumalo was present when the goalkeeper was shot.

Surprisingly, the Senzo Meyiwa murder case has two dockets which were investigated by two teams. Khumalo is named as a suspect in docket 375.
