MP Board Exam 2024: Admit cards not issued to more than 70 students of class 10, 12; District Education officer promises to take action

MP Board Exam 2024: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) began conducting the MP Board Class 10 annual exam 2024 from February 5, 2024. According to reports, a private school made a “fake” promise to issue the admit cards on Monday morning, however, the students did not receive the hall tickets due to the school’s negligence. As a result, 44 class 12 students and nearly 30 class 10 students in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh were not given admit cards, and they were unable to appear for their exams.
The Madhya Pradesh Board started conducting the Class 12 board exams 2024 since yesterday.Students have expressed their concern and said that they do not want to waste a year because of the negligence of the school.
A student, expressing her anger, said, “We were told on Friday that our exams were unlikely to happen. We want to appear for our exams. Our academic year must not be wasted” the news agency reported.
After Archana Vidyapeeth, a private school in Rajod of Dhar district, failed to provide admit cards to students for their class 10th and 12th board exams, 31 students couldn’t take the class 10th exam. In protest, they, along with their parents, blocked the Sardarpur Badnawar road, causing traffic to stop completely. Parents blamed the school for jeopardising their children’s future and demanded an action from the district education offices against the school authorities.
District Education Officer Laxman Deora provided assurance to the students and their parents, stating that all necessary actions would be taken. “A letter has been sent to the relevant department and board regarding the matter. Swift action will be taken,” Deora affirmed.
