Some of the Chiefs’ biggest supporters had a certain goal in mind when getting glammed up for Super Bowl 2024 in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Prior to kickoff at Allegiant Stadium, celebrity makeup artist Allison Kaye wanted to make sure clients Lyndsay Bell and Emily Winchester, the wives of Kansas City tight end Blake Bell and long snapper James Winchester, respectively, were set with “long-lasting” styles should they be celebrating a second consecutive championship well into the night.
“The goal with the makeup was longevity because we knew if they won they would be going to the afterparty,” Kaye told The Post on Monday, hours after Kansas City topped the San Francisco 49ers in overtime, 25-22, en route to back-to-back Super Bowl wins.
Kaye, who also worked with Jaeden Hooker, the girlfriend of Chiefs cornerback Keith Taylor, used TEMPTU airbrush makeup and Skindinavia setting spray to ensure a lasting look.
The Florida-based beauty influencer knows from experience what goes into day-to-night glam, having worked with Kansas City spouses last year when the Chiefs defeated the Eagles in Super Bowl 2023 in Arizona.
“They ensured me that last year they didn’t need to touch up their faces as [the makeup] truly stayed all day and night,” she said.
Leading up to Sunday’s contest, the ladies wanted to make the most of their time in Las Vegas with their loved ones.
“They were so excited to be in Las Vegas,” Kaye said. “Their plans were to take the team bus over to the tailgate and hang out there before going into the game.”
Members of Chiefs Kingdom partied until the early hours of Monday morning, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, who is friends with Lyndsay.
The duo also celebrated with tight end Travis Kelce and his girlfriend, pop megastar Taylor Swift.
Brittany and Lyndsay have grown close to Swift in recent months as her relationship with Kelce has continued to intensify.
As for Kaye, she herself is wrapping up a busy week in Las Vegas after working with Allie Heyward, the wife of Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward, and Kelsey Holmer, the girlfriend of Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson, among others, at Thursday’s NFL Honors.
