Perth Barbie premiere: Influencers roll up to gala event in limo van

Some of Perth’s best-known reality TV stars and influencers rolled up in style to the highly anticipated Barbie premiere in an attempt to outshine east coast movie events.

Pink mania took over Event Cinemas at Innaloo on Monday night for the premiere of the film, where hundreds of people dressed to the nines in pink.

Influencers, led by digital creator Zak Hasleby in a glowing silver cowboy hat and pink suit jacket, went all out for the best day ever hiring a limo van for the Barbie party.

The group featured the likes of Married At First Sight stars Mish and Sharon Marsh, Lyndall Grace, Bronte Schofield, Jesse Burford and Beck Zemek.

Big Brother star Hannah Campbell, Love Island Australia beauty Jordan Cayliss and influencers Lauren Alex, Taylor James, Kayty Banks, Lawrence Murphy and Rebekah Valerio were also on board.

The limo van picked the Perth stars up from Scarborough foreshore — stopping four Transperth buses for a photo shoot — where they began their party on wheels to Innaloo.

Videos from their antics inside the limo showed the group dancing, indulging in beverages and posing for photos surrounded by coloured flashing lights.

Hasleby, known for influencing the influencers, said they wanted to celebrate in style for one of the biggest films of the year.

“Tonight is the biggest Perth premiere (Innaloo) has ever had so we thought we’d try and outdo Sydney premieres and have our own limo style,” he said.

“It was an amazing vibe inside, we were listening to Barbie tracks of course, listening to the soundtrack, there was a stripper pole in there and we were just dancing around having a good time.”
