Prince William was the butt of the joke during an appearance in Cardiff, Wales, earlier this week.
The Duke of Cambridge, 41, and his wife, Kate Middleton, stopped by Grange Pavilion when he joked during a group photo.
A video of the event was posted on TikTok, as William was heard giggling: “Who’s pinching my bottom?” as he posed with Middleton, 41, and the rest of the attendees.
The group then burst into laughter.
The Prince and Princess of Wales traveled to Cardiff fro commemorate the 75th anniversary of the HMT Empire Windrush’s arrival in London and the beginning of Black History Month in the United Kingdom.
William will next be heading out to Singapore next month for the 2023 Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony.
However, Middleton will not be joining him as she has to stay home with their three kids — Prince George, 10, Prince Louis, 5, and Princess Charlotte, 8 — so they can continue with their schoolwork.
Things have also been rocky with the couple, as well as with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The Fab Four have been at odds ever since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to California in 2020. A source told Us Weekly recently that Middleton is less open than her husband to reconnect with Harry, 39, and Markle, 42.
“Kate has no desire to communicate with Harry nor Meghan,” the insider said. “There has been too much that has happened, and she’s not ready yet.”
However, William hopes his “relationship with his brother [will] improve, but they’re not speaking right now.”
“So when that will happen is still uncertain,” the source explained. But the Wales’ marriage may also be somewhat contentious. The insider noted that they “have been having ups and downs in their marriage like everyone else.”
“But they’re focused on their royal duties and doing that as a unit,” they added.
The “Suits” alum most likely won’t see Middleton in the near future too. A royal expert recently claimed that the latter makes the actress feel “uncomfortable.”
“The Last Queen” author Clive Irving explained to the Express that it’s “unlikely ever to see Meghan in the same frame as [Prince] William and Kate.”
Irving went on: “I don’t think [Markle] is comfortable with them because they’re not comfortable with her. I think it’s basically Harry’s appearances that will matter now, not her.”
