Princess Kate once wore a crop top as ‘playful’ as Ivanka Trump’s look

Ivanka Trump shared some pictures of her summer holiday in Europe with her husband Jared Kushner and their children.

In one photo, Donald Trump’s daughter could be seen wearing a fabulous white floral two-piece co-ord in Ibiza.

In another picture taken in Greece, she dons a very stylish look, a blue polka dot crop top and matching trousers which she combines with a silver mini handbag and white sandals.

Ivanka seems to be into crop tops and two-piece sets this summer and her fans absolutely adored the chic outfits and took to social media to praise her style.

In the comments section, @‌bcreaume commented: “Such a cute and classy couple,” and Instagram user @‌gof5and4 said: “Beautiful couple!”

Style and royal expert Miranda Holder commended on Ivanka’s style and said that she “looks fresh, feminine and playful in the floral ivory co-ord ensemble”.

Miranda opined that this is “a key look for this season, which looks effortless and is perfect for enjoying the summer weather”.

She continued: “The bralette top screams body confidence (inspiration for us all) and the breathable, cool linen fabric prevents the outfit from feeling too ’try hard’.

“It’s a change from the dressier outfits we are more used to seeing Ivanka in and she is clearly in ‘holiday mode’ – I hope she’s having a lovely time!”

Co-ord sets may seem like a bold choice and a look royal women are not allowed to wear as it is not considered a conservative style.

However, and this may come as a shock to some, Kate, Princess of Wales once wore a crop top to attend a royal engagement.

In 2016, Kate donned an embroidered co-ord set, a crop top and a long skirt, for a garden party honouring the late Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday.

The black and white look from Temperley London featured an intricate design, and the crop top showed off the then Duchess of Cambridge’s waistline.

The Delphia Embroidered Silk-Organza Maxi Skirt used to retail for £2,304 while the Delphia Cropped Embroidered Tulle Top cost £1,173, and Kate looked absolutely fabulous at the event.
