RANGERS fans have been setting their alarms for 9am tomorrow – after the club teased the launch of what seems set to be a popular orange and blue third kit.
It’s fair to say Gers fans haven’t always approved of Castore’s designs since the club hooked up with the English kit supplier.
But Rangers supporters are far happier this season – with both the home and away strips getting a good reception.
And the new third kit, which appears to be modelled on a nine-in-a-row era outfit, has fans salivating.
Images which have been widely shared on social media show an orange and navy blue striped kit, with a central badge and circular collar.
And fans have been flooding to social media as they can’t wait to get their hands on one.
One supporter wrote: “Oh my god it’s happening”
Another said simply: “Ohhh it’s real.”
A third said: “A sell-out looming”.
Another wrote: “I take back all the criticism to Castore”
Another said: “Best top since the 90s”
“Castore going 3 for 3?!?!?”
Gers fans’ hopes of having another big name signing to model the design may also be on the up after the Dutch press claimed they had submitted an improved offer for Feyenoord’s Danilo.
The Brazilian forward is a priority target for Michael Beale this summer as the manager looks to add firepower to his attack.
The Rangers boss has already signed Cyriel Dessers, Sam Lammers and Abdallah Sima to beef up his attacking options but is still on the hunt for another following Alfredo Morelos’ and Antonio Colak’s exits.
It was revealed last month that the Light Blues launched an initial £3.5million bid for Danilo but it was booted out by Feyenoord.
SunSport then told you earlier this month that Beale’s men were preparing an improved bid for the striker.
And they’ve finally stepped up their chase for the target as it’s being reported by 1908.nl that they’ve submitted another bid worth around £5.2million to land his signature.
