Robert Irwin becomes youngest Australian to have a Madame Tussauds wax figure at 20-years-old at Sydney museum

Robert Irwin is set to become the youngest Australian ever to be honoured with a Madame Tussauds wax figure.

The 20-year-old will become immortalized at the popular Sydney attraction with the wax figure set to be unveiled later this year.

“Being approached by Madame Tussauds Sydney to receive a wax figure is a huge honour. I’m such a fan of the Madame Tussauds attractions; they’re home to the most influential celebrities in the world, and I’m very proud that I’ll be amongst them!” Robert said.

The wildlife warrior was joined by his mum Terri Irwin when he had over 100 measurements and 300 reference photos taken to create the wax figure, both fascinated by the methodical process.

Robert will be wearing his iconic Australia Zoo khaki set made famous by his dad, Steve Irwin, and will be poised with a camera.

To top it off, his favourite snake species — the woma python — will sit on top.

The Madame Tussauds museums recreate iconic moments of fame using cutting-edge technology to produce wax figures of celebrities, giving fans the chance to mingle and get up close with A-list stars.
