Small Town Triumph: Sitapur Students Shine as UP Board Class 10 and 12 Toppers

PRAYAGRAJ: This year’s result of class 10 and 12 of UP Secondary Education Board brought smiles on the faces of students from the smaller towns of the state. Be it class 10 or 12, the meritorious students of smaller towns like Sitapur, Fatehpur, Amroha, Jaulaun, Deoria, Chitrakoot, Mahoba etc have proved their mettle by winning the race and bagging top positions in the overall merit list of Board exams, results of which was announced on Saturday.
In the results of class 10, Prachi Nigam of Sita Bal Vidya Mandir Inter College, Mahmudabad, Sitapur topped the High school exam by scoring 98.50% of marks. Last year Priyanshi Soni of the same school had topped class 10 in the state.
Likewise, at the second place is Deepika Sonkar of SSIC Mustafapur, Fatehpur who has scored 98.33% marks. The third position is shared by Navya Singh of Sita Bal Vidya Mandir Inter College, Sitapur, Swati Singh of Baburam Savitri Devi Inter College, Sitapur.
Likewise, in terms of class 12th result, Sitapur has again won the show as Shubham Verma also of Sita Bal Vidya Mandir Inter College, Mahmudabad, Sitapur bagging the first position in the state. He scored 97.80% of marks.
The number two position is shared among Vishnu Chaudhary of Shri Ram SM Inter College Bagpat, Kajal Singh of Amroha, Raj Verma of Sitapur Kashish Maurya, also from Sitapur, Charli Gupta from Siddharth Nagar and Sujatha Pandey of Deoria. All the students cored 97.60% of marks.
The third place is shared among five students including Sheetal Verma of Sitapur, Kashish Yadav of Raebareli, Aaditya Kumar Yadav of Kanpur, Anksha Vishvakarma of Fatehpur and Palak Singh of Siddharth Nagar, all scoring 97.40% of marks.
Interestingly, this year 159 students are there in top 10 positions in class 10 board results. Likewise, there are a whopping number of 408 students in the list of top 10 position holders in class 12 board exam.
In class 10,115 candidates were those who were imprisoned in different jails of the state. Of these 91 candidates appeared in the exam and 89 of them were successful in class 10 board.
Likewise, in class 12, there were 135 candidates who were imprisoned in different jails of the state and had registered in class 12 exam. Out of which 105 appeared in the exam and 87 of them cleared class 12 Board.
