Love Island’s Tayla Broad has posed nude for a beach photoshoot while sharing a moving post about her body as she prepares to welcome her first child.
The 26-year-old, who announced earlier this year that she was expecting a baby girl with her AFL star husband Nathan Broad, shared a series of photos of her pregnancy journey on social media.
Broad took to Instagram to show off her growing baby bump with a naked beachside photoshoot and a heart-warming message on how she’s learnt to love her body as it prepares for its “hardest task to date” — the birth of their child.
“To my home, my body. I know I haven’t been nice to you in the past. I know I have spent many times wishing I was given a different home,” she said.
“I took you for granted and treated you horribly. I have called you names, starved you, and tried to mould you into things you couldn’t possibly be. “
As her due date looms closer, Broad admitted the last nine months she had developed a love for her body “like no other”.
Her post was flooded with heartfelt and supportive messages from friends and fans.
“Thank you for this. I’m 15 weeks and struggling to love my body,” one fan said.
“Everything from the photos, caption, to your gorgeous baby bump, to your little girl and to your amazing body is just incredible. ❤️❤️ Women are truly amazing!” another wrote.
The post comes a year after Broad opened up about overcoming her battle with body dysmorphia.
In a video posted to social media, the star shared her struggle with food and the debilitating effects it had on her health.
The soon-to-be parents tied the knot in a fancy wedding on October 17 last year.
