Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, a star in his own right, is again stepping into the world of TV.
This time, the Kansas City Chiefs NFL player has been confirmed as the new host of Prime Video’s reality show, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?
The show is a spin-off of the popular Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?

An adult contestant will rely on a classroom full of celebrities from stage, screen and sport to help them answer 11 questions on a range of subjects, pulled from the elementary curriculum — in an effort to win a $100,000 prize.
“I grew up loving game shows, and I’m excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with Are You Smarter than a Celebrity,” Kelce said in a statement.
“The original show (was) a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone’s favourite celebrities to the screen, will definitely be entertaining.
“I’m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up.”
Amazon MGM Studios, which is producing the show, says Kelce’s hosting of the “reimagined” game program will delight audiences.
“Travis has proven to be an incredible talent on and off the field,” said Lauren Anderson, head of AVOD originals unscripted and targeted programming, Amazon MGM Studios.
“We appreciate the trust he has placed in us with his first (hosting) foray in television.
“His natural, comedic dynamic with our panelists and guests, coupled with some exciting new twists, will keep our global customers coming back week after week.”
This is not the first reality series of which Kelce has been a part.
In 2016, he was pursued on the E! reality dating series Catching Kelce.
The show ended with his choosing Maya Benberry, whom he went on to date for eight months.
Kelce began dating Taylor Swift publicly in September 2023.
That was when the singing megastar was first spotted at one of his games, amid rumours of a relationship.
In the past, Kelce has praised Swift for her interest in the NFL, and for introducing Swifties to the sport.
“She’s definitely brought a lot of new faces to the game, and it’s been fun to experience that,” he told CNN earlier this year.
“It’s fun seeing her enjoy the game of football, knowing it’s new to her life.
“It’s been fun to kind of gather the Swifties into Chiefs’ Kingdom and open them up to the football world and the sports world.
“It’s been cool to just experience all that.”
