Australian actress Teresa Palmer has revealed she has suffered a miscarriage, three months into her fifth pregnancy.

The 38-year-old, who appears in Ryan Gosling’s new film The Fall Guy, posted a poignant video in which a series of pictures captures the emotional rollercoaster of the pregnancy.
The Instagram video first shows her four excited children and her husband Mark Webber learning the news that she is pregnant.
Palmer’s video ends with powerful images of her crying, after having lost the baby.
“It feels really good to be able to share my story,” she said on Instagram on Friday morning.
“Honoured and grateful to have been able to carry this little soul, my fifth baby, in my heart and body for the past three months.
“Sometimes in life, things happen that we just don’t understand.
“Brimming with gratitude for my people who have held me close during this time.
“To anyone who knows the pain of pregnancy loss, sending you immense love.”
The video also showed Palmer’s growing baby bump and some photos throughout the three months.
Featured were her and Webber’s children Bodhi, 9, Forest, 6, Poet, 4 and Prairie, 2.
The actress is also stepmother to Webber’s 15-year-old son, Isaac, with his ex, actress Frankie Shaw.
Palmer had not publicly announced her fifth pregnancy.
Followers and friends posted messages of support.
Actress Mandy Moore wrote, “Sending you and your family all of my love”, while The White Lotus star Alexandra Daddario said, “Sending you love”.
Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ daughter Tallulah said, “So so much love to you guys. My heart is with you”.
“Oh Tez I’m so so sorry. I know this pain so well and wish I could take some for you. Sending you so much love,” added another.
“The way your sons in that last clip are sitting there protecting and nurturing their mother. Absolute magic. That is lineage,” a user said.
Palmer is best known for her lead role in the 2016 film The Choice.
She also had roles in I Am Number Four, Bedtime Stories and, most recently, The Fall Guy.
