The Top 5 Brand Logos According To You

The votes are in and we now know what your top five favorite car logos are. Over 50 comments later we also have a quick list of honorable mentions and at least one clear takeaway. Classic logos did very well and only one ‘newcomer’ was able to crack the top five.

Those honorable mentions include Lamborghini, Toyota, Kia, and our lead image, RAM. The rest of the voting was very mixed with brands that received a near-even mix of upvotes and downvotes. The top five though were almost unanimously approved by those who took the time to vote.

5. Abarth

The tuning subdivision of Fiat punches above its weight on the track and evidently in logo popularity too. The color mixture looks great, the small nod to the Italian flag is subtle but meaningful, and who doesn’t love a scorpion? Small but scary, just like an Abarth on a racetrack.

4. Peugeot

Coming in with nine upvotes and none opposed is French automaker Peugeot. Unlike the rest of the brands here, this entry was text only so we’re not sure which version of the lion is the preferred but as the question specified “right now” we’re going to assume it’s the current one.

3. Koenigsegg

Taking bronze by a single upvote over Peugeot is the newest of the brands here, Koenigsegg. Ben pointed out that it looks great in both color and in grayscale and we agree. As family crests go it’s pretty dapper too.

2. Maserati

While its technically sitting at the top of our comment section in the original article, the Maserati trident takes home silver. We’ll explain why in a moment but let’s take a second to bask in the greatness of this logo. It’s simple but powerful, sleek but strong, and it clearly differentiates itself from the others.

Combine four different comments highlighting the Alfa Romeo badge and you get a score of 22 upvotes and zero downvotes. If that’s not a thumping win we don’t know what is. Who knew that a reptile eating a human would be so popular? You lot evidently.
