NFL icon Tom Brady got sacked for three hours on Sunday during Netflix’s G.R.O.A.T.: The Greatest Roast of All Time as former teammates, comedians, and Roastmaster General Jeff Ross tore into him with the meanest jokes they could come up with. But one joke was maybe just a little too much for Brady.
The three-hour event was part of this year’s Netflix Is a Joke Fest, with some events including the roast streaming live on the platform. It seems like a big deal but remember — this is the G.R.O.A.T. for the G.O.A.T., a seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback who can keep the world in suspense over whether or not he’s going to go to work. So these jokes can be really, really mean.
Ross is no stranger to this, and at one point, he brought New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft into the insult parade. Here was Ross’s Kraft bit:
So, Tom became a Patriot and moved up to New England, and on the first day of training camp, that scrawny rookie famously walked into the owner Robert Kraft’s office and said, “I’m the best decision your organization has ever made. Would you like a massage?”
Kraft was accused of soliciting sex from a woman at a Florida massage parlor in 2019. He publicly apologized, and the charges were dropped.
Immediately after the joke, Brady fidgeted in his seat as Ross started blowing kisses to Kraft in the audience. Then Brady got up and said in Ross’s ear: “Don’t say that shit again.”

Ross defended himself on stage, saying: “He’s having fun, look at him!” He also agreed not to say that shit again.
