The application correction window for the University Grants Commission (UGC)-National Eligibility Test(UGC NET) will be opened for two days.

UGC NET December 2023 Application Correction Window: The application correction window for the University Grants Commission (UGC)-National Eligibility Test(UGC NET) will be opened for two days. Going by the NTA UGC NET December 2023 cycle schedule, the testing agency will open the correction window from October 30 to October 31, 2023 (upto 11:50 PM). During this time period, registered candidates will be allowed to edit their UGC NET Application form. The online application correction window will be available on the official website – https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/.

Candidates who have submitted the UGC NET forms and now want to make changes in the application form will be allowed to do so till October 31, (up to 11:50 PM). The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC-NET, which is a Test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ as well as ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian Universities and Colleges. The UGC-NET is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode w.e.f. December 2018 onwards.

• Submission of Online Application Form: 30 September 2023 to 28 October 2023 (upto 05:00 P.M.)
• Last date for submission of Examination fee (through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking /UPI 29 October 2023 (upto 11:50 P.M.)
• Correction in the Particulars in Online Application Form: 30 – 31 October 2023 (upto 11:50 P.M)
• Announcement of City of Exam Centre: Last week of the November 2023

Candidate shall ensure that the information (like, his/her name. mother’s name, father’s name, gender, date of birth, category, PwD status, mobile number, email address, photograph and signature, choice of cities for exam centre, etc.) provided by them in their online Application Form are correct and of their own. Candidates are advised to exercise utmost care for filling up correct details in the Application Form. Any request for change in the particulars after the closure of the correction period will not be considered by NTA under any circumstances. Corrections sent by the candidate through Post/ Fax/WhatsApp/Email/by Hand will not be entertained by NTA

UGC NET December Registration 2023: How to Edit Application Form?

A chance will be given to the candidates to correct/modify/edit some of the particular(s) of the Application Form online only, after submission of the Application Form.

1. Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
2. On the homepage, look for the registration link.
3. Enter the login details and your application form will be opened.
4. Check the application and make the changes in it. Once done click on submit.
5. Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin available on the NTA website.
