Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board Renuka Mishra said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had instructed the recruitment of 60,244 constable posts in UP Police. Subsequently, the recruitment notification was issued by the board on Saturday, outlining the distribution of posts – 24,102 unreserved, 6,024 reserved for economically weaker sections (EWS), 16,264 for Other Backward Class, 12,650 for Scheduled Castes, and 1,204 for Scheduled Tribe.
