The WBBSE conducted the Class 10 exams from February 2 to February 12, 2024.Notably, there was a timing adjustment, with the exams scheduled from 09:45 AM to 01:00 PM, differing from the typical slot of 11:45 AM to 03:00 PM.

WB Madhyamik Result 2024 Statistics
This year, the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 86.31%. A total of 9,23,013 lakh candidates appeared for the exam at around 2675 exam centres across the state. Out of these, 4.03 lakh were boys and 5.08 lakh were girls. Among these, 7.65 lakh candidates have passed the examination.
The WB Class 10 result merit list comprises 57 students. Among them, there is one student each at ranks 1, 2, and 4, while there are three students at rank 3. Additionally, rank 5 also has one student. Remarkably, rank 10 is shared by a total of 18 students.
West Bengal Madhyamik Toppers 2024
Chandrachur Sen secured the top rank with an impressive score of 693 marks, which makes to 99%. Following closely behind is Shyamapriya Guru, who attained 692 marks or 98.86%, earning the second rank. The third position is shared by three candidates, namely Udayan Prasad, Pushpita Basuri, and Nairit Ranjan Paul, all scoring 691 marks.

WB Madhyamik Result 2024: When can students expect original marksheet?
Students can retrieve their provisional mark sheets for WB Class 10 from the official websites. However, they will be required to collect the hard copies of their final West Bengal Madhyamik mark sheets 2024 from their respective schools in due course. Schools will notify students about when to collect the printed mark sheets.
WB Madhyamik Result 2024: Last 2 Years’ Statistics
Last year, the results were announced on May 19, 2023. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 86.15%, with Devdutta Majhi securing the top position across the state. Whereas, in 2022, the overall pass percentage stood at 86.60%.
In 2023, a total of 6,98,628 students registered for the WB Madhyamik exams and the number of students in 2022 was 10,98,775.
