Xbox fans in tears as more free games are removed than added this month

XBOX changes up the games that are available on Game Pass regularly, but usually the library grows every month.

However, May is different as more games will be leaving the service this month than arriving.

Five games are being added to Xbox Game Pass this month, but eight games are being removed.

Among the games leaving this month are a number from popular series, and an 89-rated hit.

The highest-rated game leaving the service this month is Norco, an indie point-and-click adventure, which received an excellent 89 rating on review aggregate site Metacritic.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 is another highly-rated game with a score of 84.

This is a turn-based strategy RPG with a choices-matter system that people love.

Another notable game leaving this month is Just Cause 4, the most recent game in the popular series.

Eiyuden Chronicle Rising is also leaving the service, which is disappointing following the launch of Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes.

This is a side-story prequel which many people have been playing to prepare for the new release.

If any of the games on the list interest you, you have just two weeks to play them before they are gone.

Many of these are smaller games that it would be possible to finish before the deadline.

Here are the games leaving Xbox Game Pass on May 15.

  • Eastern Exorcist Cloud, console and PC
  • Eiyuden Chronicle Rising Cloud, console and PC
  • Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 Cloud, console and PC
  • Ghostlore Cloud, console and PC
  • Just Cause 4 Reloaded Cloud, console and PC
  • Norco Cloud, console and PC
  • SD Gundam Battle Alliance Cloud, console and PC
