You can stream all 9 movies on Hulu right now

If you are looking for something exciting to binge this month, Hulu’s got you covered. As of May 1st, all nine Planet of the Apes movies are now streaming on Hulu, from the 1968 classic to the ill-fated Tim Burton remake to the ongoing reboot series.

The decades-old film franchise is based on French author Pierre Boulle’s 1963 book La Planète des singes, which was translated into English and published in the US as Planet of the Apes the same year. In 1968, 20th Century Fox produced a film adaptation, which was a commercial and critical success that spawned four sequels between 1970 and 1973.

If you’re interested in watching the original film series, here are links to all five on Hulu:

Nearly 30 years later, after many years in development hell, 20th Century Fox finally teamed up with Tim Burton to reboot its franchise for a new audience. Mark Wahlberg stars as an astronaut who enters a portal to a new world filled with talking humanoid apes played by Tim Roth, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Clarke Duncan, Paul Giamatti, and others.

Although it was a hit at the box office, critics were not kind to the remake, and Fox ended up canceling a planned sequel. You can still stream it on Hulu, though:

Ten years later, Fox tried to reboot the Apes franchise once again, but this time, the studio was successful. Rise of the Planet of the Apes stars James Franco as pharmaceutical chemist Will Rodman, who tests a new drug on a chimp that ends up significantly increasing its intelligence. That chimp has a child named Caesar, who ends up rising up against humanity.

There are three movies in the reboot series to date, with the fourth, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, hitting theaters worldwide on May 10. If you want to catch up before the latest Apes movie premieres, you can watch the first three movies on Hulu:

That’s nine movies to binge, so if you start now, you could watch one a night every night before Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes releases in theaters next week.
